London: American band Backstreet Boys are all set to get back together for their eighth album in 2012.

“That’s one of the things that we’re going to be happening this next year, is we’re going to be in the studio working on a new record,” contactmusic.com quoted bandmate Howie D as saying.

The band which comprises of Brian Littrell, Nick Carter and A. J. McLean will go on a Europe tour in 2012.

“That’s always the challenge working on new albums; trying to push the envelope, trying to always top the last album. But that’s what we do. That’s one of the reasons why we take our time to make the record the best it can be. To not rush it and to keep your finger on the pulse of what’s hot,” he added. (IANS)
