London: Actress Demi Moore has opened up about her feelings of rejection and abandonment for the first time after the collapse of her third marriage to Ashton Kutcher, saying she fears that she may never find love.

The 49-year-old, who was previously married to Freddy Moore and Bruce Willis, confirmed her six-year union to Kutcher was over in November after reports emerged that the actor cheated on her.

Moore said that two broken marriages haves left her feeling scared that she is not worthy of being loved, reported Harper’s Bazar.

“What scares me is that I’m going to ultimately find out at the end of my life that I’m not really loveable, that I’m not worthy of being loved. That there’s something fundamentally wrong with me. The fight against gravity for me is to find that love for myself that gives me the courage to reach my fullest potential.”

The actress also admits she was crushed by the breakdown of her marriage but she’s slowly recovering from her heartache. “I used to think that what scared me was the idea of being abandoned until someone said to me, ‘Only children can be abandoned. Adults can’t be abandoned because we have a choice.'” (PTI)
