Join the Army to solve unemployment problem

JOWAI: Serving the country as an Army would at least solve the unemployment problems of educated youths.

“There are employment opportunities for our youth”, said the Director Recruitment office, Shillong, Col. Ravindra Singh in a press conference held here at DC’s Conference hall, Jowai.

The Army Recruitment office will conduct the Army Recruitment Rally from Jan 17 to Jan 24 at Kiang Nangbah Stadium, Ladthadlaboh, Jowai.

The rally will be conducted for all districts of Meghalaya and three districts of Assam including Nagaon, Sonitpur and Morigoan district.

“We are expecting around 1500 to 2000 candidates to participate in the recruitment rally”, Singh said.

The recruitment will be for various vacancies including Soldier General Duty, Soldier Tradesmen, Soldier Technical, Soldier Storekeeper Technical, Soldier Nursing Assistant and DSC Personnel.

Interest candidates may approach HQ Recruiting Office, Shillong for more information.

The Director Army recruitment office along with his team also held a meeting with government officials including PWD engineers, DMHO, Superintendent of Police.

The meeting was presided by the Deputy Commissioner who requested youths of the state to join the Indian Army to serve the country.
