State finishes 4th at Natl Taekwondo Meet

State Taekwondo Team bagged 4th position in the 21st National Taekwondo Championship held recently at Kolkata. Tara Darjee, Rajan Deb and Anthony Rumnong won gold medals while Sandhya Pandey, Santosh Thakur, Gautam Singhania, Akash Singh, Bikram Deka and Ganga Sagar won Silver and Asish Biswa, Kynsailang Lyngdoh, Man Thabah, Ricky Pathaw, Dominic Jana and Akash Barua bagged bronze medals. The championship was organized by Taekwondo Martial Art of Bengal under the aegis Amateur Taekwondo of India. West Bengal emerged toppers followed by Manipur at second spot and Bihar third.
