Four injured in Manipur clash

Imphal: At least four persons were injured in poll-related clash in interior Thoubal district of Manipur, official reports said on Saturday.

Some persons who were campaigning for a particular candidate for the upcoming January 28 Manipur assembly polls threatened supporters of their rival candidate at Thoubal area on Friday evening with guns.

The enraged rival supporters chased their vehicle and beat four persons who were identified as T Ratan, S Bimolchand, S Mangibabu and N Sanjoy Singh, officials said. (PTI)
