BJP promises development

IMPHAL: BJP president Nitin Gadkari on Friday released party’s ‘Vision Document’ promising all-round development for Manipur, which goes to poll on Januray 28.

The document, entitled ‘Manipur Marching Ahead’ was released at a public meeting in the state capital.

Speaking on the occasion state BJP President Shantikumar said the party aspires for an ideal Manipur society that is free from violence, terror, intimidation, threat and coercion as well as from poverty, unemployment, literacy, diseases and ignorance.

He further mentioned that the “BJP was committed to bringing people out of the present state of hopelessness and despair, giving them society that they deserve.” (UNI)
