London: Hollwyood actress Gwyneth Paltrow says she and husband Chris Martin often “fall in and out of love” but their problems make their marriage stronger.
The 39-year-old star, who has daughter Apple, seven, and five-year-old son Moses with Martin, thinks their ups and downs have only made their union stronger, reported Contactmusic.
“My parents were married for 30-something years, and my dad said it was because they never wanted to get divorced at the same time. I think you do fall in and out of love and you just keep going, and every time you go through a really difficult phase, you rediscover something new and it just gets better. We’ve been married for more than eight years now, and we’re still into it,” Paltrow said.
The actress also said she believes one of the reasons why her marriage has lasted is because she is willing to compromise in order to be there for Martin.
“I have little kids in school. I want to maintain my marriage and my family, so I have to be here when he comes home,” Paltrow said. (PTI)
