KOHIMA:The two-week long Budget Session of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly will begin Monday.
Official sources said here the Budget Session, which will begin with the Governor’s Address at the Nagaland Assembly Hall, will have Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, who holds the Finance portfolio, presenting the budget on March 15 next.
The Assembly, in its agenda of ‘Discussion on Matter of Urgent Public Importance’ will take up on March 16 the Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation’s demand of a separate state of ‘Frontier Nagaland’, where members of the both the Treasury and Opposition benches would take part, official sources informed.
