 SHILLONG: Following a scam which was unearthed in an Annapurna scheme in Mawryngkneng village, an FIR was filed with police against a fair price shop dealer of Mawryngkneng Main Road for forging the signatures of the beneficiaries including the signatures of those who have died three to four years ago.

The scam was unearthed by the BDO of Mawryngkneng MS Sangma who subsequently filed an FIR against Fair Price Shop Dealer, Khriang Lamare at police station here on Monday.
