 NONGSTOIN: One person was killed and one seriously injured after an exchange of words between three drunk police personnel leading to the killing of one and leaving one injured. The incident took place on Tuesday last at Nongshillong Battalion Camp, West Khasi Hills.
The police personnel are the security guards of the United Bank of India, Nongshillong branch.
Talking to media the Superintendent of Police West Khasi Hills R. Muthu said that the accused has been identified as M.N Marak of East Garo Hills and the deceased as T.N Marak (25) while the injured cop is identified as R Bordoloi (32) of Assam. A case has been registered at Nongstoin police station in this regard .
