Miscreants take away money, cell phones

SHILLONG: Unidentified miscreants snatched away Rs 25,000 and three cell phones from some labourers at Madan Lumheh Laitkor on March 19.

A delayed report said, one Kitboklang Sympli, under whom these labourers were working, lodged a complaint at Madanrting PS in this connection.

Meanwhile in a series of theft cases in the city, on March 18 morning, unknown miscreants stole a motorcycle (ML-05F-9287) belonging to Biswajit Das from Zigzag, Rilbong.

In another such incident on the same day at around 11:45pm, unidentified auto-rickshaw (AS-25-AC-1084) borne miscreants stole twelve batteries belonging to M/s Airtel Telecommunications from its tower based at Raniw Village in East Khasi Hills
