DGP clarification

SHILLONG: Meghalaya Director General of Police (DGP) N Ramachandran on Wednesday clarified that the pictures of GNLA cadres shopping at Daranggri bazaar which appeared in a section of the press on Wednesday, were not clicked in Meghalaya territory. “We have cross-checked and found out that the incident occurred in Daranggri market located in Goalpara district of Assam.
