Super div cricket final rescheduled for Monday

 SHILLONG: Rains played spoilsport in the final of the Super Division Cricket League 2012 between Malki Cricket Club and United XI on Tuesday.

Heavy downpour made the ground unfit for play after lunch.

Earlier Malki CC won the toss and elected to bat. They put a competitive score of 158 for 8 in 39 overs. The highlight of their innings was a century partnership between Wallambok (43) and Dathew Syngkon (47).

Umpires called off play after several inspections of the pitch and the outfield.

Now, the final will be played on Monday at 9 am.

The tournament is being organised by the Shillong Cricket Association
