SHILLONG: The Shillong leg of the TATA Tea Jaago Re Soccer Star U-15 Inter-School Football Tournament for boys will be held from April 20-21 at the Artificial Turf ( 3rd Ground), Polo where more than 40 school teams are expected to participate.
The winning team from the Shillong leg will go on to represent the city in the All-India Finals to be held in Shillong on April 28.
During the seven a side tournament, the boys will be watched closely by head scout Jamshid Nassiri who will select a minimum of three boys from the Shillong leg who along with 30 other boys from different parts of the country will go for a training under two Inter Milan coaches for a two week period in May-June 2012.
After the two week coaching camp, 16 boys will be shortlisted to travel to Inter Milan, Italy where they would take part in the Inter Milan International Soccer Festival in the last weeek of August.
