SHILLONG: Water supply to most part of the city has been affected due to the breakdown of a 750 mm feeder pipe at a spot near Lad Mawreng affecting water supply to Mawphlang supply site, the PHE department has informed.
Additional Chief Engineer, PHE, Zone 1, SR Chanda, informed on Saturday that restoration work is in progress and is expected to be completed by 4 pm of Monday.
