Shillong: The first four-day State Open Inter-School Carrom Championship which concluded at the JN Sports Complex on Saturday saw active participation from children of various schools in the city besides other carrom players of the state.
Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Deputy Chief Minister Incharge of Sports and Youth Affairs, Bindo M Lanong lauded the interest showed in the game by the young people while urging them to further improve themselves to reach newer heights.
