Lapang congratulated
The Sohiong Block Congress Committee under the leadership of HDR Lyngdoh, who is also the president of this committee, congratulated DD Lapang who resumed duty as the chief of the Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) after taking over from former president, Friday Lyngdoh.
Shad Sukra Festival
The Seiñ Raij Mukhla and in Collaboration with the office of the Indian Council for Cultural Relation Shillong will organise the annual Shad Sukra Festival of Seiñ Raij Mukhla on April 28 at Madan Slot Masi, Mukhla Nongrim Cultural Club. The Seiñ Raij Mukhla invited Seiñ Raij and Seng Khasi followers to participate in the event.

New office bearers
The Malki Dorbar Shnong which had chosen H.P. Oflyn Dohling as its Rangbah Shnong for the second time on March 31 chose new office bearers on April 20. The new members include Bandara Warjri, secretary, Anthony Nongbri, joint sec, Phrodin Kharmudai, treasurer, P.K.Sohtun, secretary estate committee among others.
