New Delhi: Kolkata Knight Riders captain Gautam Ghambir has been fined for his team’s slow over rate during the IPL match against Delhi Daredevils at the Ferozeshah Kotla Ground here.
At the end of the match, the Knight Riders were assessed to be one over behind the required rate after allowances were taken into consideration during the last night’s match. Since it was Gambhir’s first offence of the season under the IPL’s Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences, the Kolkata skipper was fined $20,000. (PTI)
