SHILLONG: The deputy commissioner of East Khasi Hills has prohibited any person or group of persons from causing obstruction to movement of people and vehicular traffic, the assembly of five or more persons at any public places for the purpose of causing obstruction to movement, carrying of arms and other lethal weapons in the whole of the district with the exception of security forces.
The order shall come into force with immediate effect and remain in force till further orders.
