Looting case: Two more in police net

 SHILLONG: Nagaland police have arrested two persons in connection with the looting of Rs 42 lakh from an employee of the Central Bank of India in Shillong last week.

Confirming this, Additional SP (Crime) Vivek Syiem on Tuesday said following a tip off from the State police Nagaland police arrested Richard Warjri alias Bah Hep of Nongrah and Jester Jyrwa of Sumer village in Ri-Bhoi district from a hotel in Kohima.

Rs 1 lakh was seized from their possession.

It may be mentioned that the State police earlier arrested five people including a woman in this connection.

The police also recovered Rs 33.44 lakh out of Rs 42 lakh.
