Father, daughter killed in road mishap

 SHILLONG: Two persons, father and his 2-year-old daughter, were killed on the spot when the motorcycle (ML 05H 861) they were traveling in collided with a truck (AS 01AC 3272) at Barik Point in city on Saturday night. The deceased were identified Govin Chetri,30 and Mahek Chetri. The condition of Govin’s wife Pushpa Chetri, who sustained multiple injuries, is stated to be critical. She has admitted to a private hospital. The driver of truck Phidalis Rymbai, 31, from Jaintia Hills, who was in inebriated condition, has been admitted to the Shillong Civil Hospital.
