Itanagar: One person died on the spot while four others were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge at Palin under Kurung Kumey district of Arunachal Pradesh, the police said.
The accident occurred near Shakti Camp, 12 km from Palin on Wednesday.The vehicle was on its way to Palin from Itanagar, the sources said. The deceased has been identified as Lokam Taghik (50) from Damin village.
The vehicle which fell in a 100 meter gorge is yet to be retrieved, the report said adding, all the injured have been admitted to hospital. (PTI)
