SHILLONG: As part of the agitation launched by the North East Students’ Organization (NESO), the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) and the Garo Students’ Union (GSU) will organise a protest march starting from the KSU’s office, Jaiaw to Raj Bhavan and also hold a sit-in protest in front of the Governor’s House on Friday.

NESO, a banner organisation of all the major students’ organisations of the North Eastern states, had launched a sustained agitation from June 7 last against the ‘neglect’ of the Centre towards the Northeast region on multifarious issues.
