Bomb thrown at Taxation gate

TURA: Unidentified miscreants threw a homemade bomb in front of the Government Taxation gate at Dainadubi on Saturday night but it did not explode.

According to reports, the miscreants came in a scooter and threw the bomb just before 9 pm. The gate was closed but some staff were still inside the complex.

The criminals, suspected to be members of some gang of dacoits or unknown outfit, immediately fled after throwing the bomb. The gate staff alerted a police patrol party on duty in the area who immediately rushed and removed the homemade bomb from the complex to a safe location. Police have raised security in the area and investigation is on.
