Jonali Sharma, an assistant teacher of Laban Assamese Girls’ Secondary School, has been awarded the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy by Gauhati University for her thesis ‘Study of some aspect of Fuzzy pre-open sets and its related topics in mixed fuzzy topological spaces’. She carried out her research under the supervision of Prof Nanda Ram Das, Department of Mathematics, Gauhati University.
