BJP WKH elects new office bearers

 NONGSTOIN: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) West Khasi Hills District in a meeting on Saturday at Nongstoin announced its new office bearers in the light of the forthcoming elections next year.

The meeting unanimously elected the following office bearers of the party; Lidrik Shyrkon Acting President, Tresparlin Lyngkhoi General Secretary, Shelling Syiemlieh Acting Vice President, Sibortin Shyrkon Asst Secretary.

The following were elected as members Jlington Jahrin, Drolishon Dkhar, Swiletingwell Marwein, Khrishon Shyrkon, Ribingwell Shyrkon.

The meeting also decided to appoint the President and the Secretary of the Mondal Committee as the Ex Officio Member of the Party.

They went on to condemn the UPA Govt for not being able to control price hike, particularly the hike in the price of petrol and essential commodities.

They said that the BJP led NDA Govt had brought about the introduction of various schemes that the people have greatly benefitted from over the years.

They mentioned that PMGSY, KCC, Swajal Dhora, SSA were a few of the beneficial schemes that were launched then.
