Ramesh Bawri felicitated by Past Pupils’ Association

 SHILLONG: The St. Edmund’s Past Pupils’ Association on Saturday felicitated Ramesh Bawri, Founder Secretary of the Association for his contribution to the association for over 40 years

During the programme,a citation and a silver salver were presented to him by AH Scott Lyngdoh, senior past pupil and ex-teacher of the school.

The Association also felicitated Seppan Latifur Rahman of Bangladesh, a past pupil of the School, who was chosen by an Award Committee consisting of three Nobel Laureates and recently awarded the prestigious “Oslo Business for Peace Award 2012”. Previous Honourees of this award, include Mr. Ratan Tata of India.

Past pupil Dutta Chowdhury from Guwahati was also honored for his yeoman contribution to SEPPA.
