SHILLONG: Beekay Bawar scored a hat-trick for Royal Wahingdoh FC on Friday in their league match against Lawmali Pyllun SC.

In the process, Royal Wahingdoh also secured a comprehensive 8-0 win over their opponents while taking their overall table points to 24. Seven goals were scored by Wahingdoh in the second half.

A hapless Lawmali were unable to contain their favoured opponents and the absence of midfielder Teibor Siangshai did not make matters better.

Beekay scored the first goal in the 22nd minute to place Royal Wahingdoh at 1-0 before half time. Then in the 63rd minute, a smooth pass from Seitya allowed Beekay to comfortably slot the ball past the keeper.

Royal Wahingdoh FC’s other goal scorers included Mala, Seitya, Sena, Bickyson and James.
