Local cabbie held for misbehaving with woman cop

SHILLONG: Police on Tuesday detained one Sainkupar Lynshing (37) of Malki, the owner cum driver of a local taxi (ML 05E 0218), for driving his vehicle in a no entry zone and also allegedly misbehaving with a woman cop.

The police woman, Jabirong Momin of the Sadar Traffic branch, alleged that Lynshing had misbehaved with her following which he was detained. Later, the women cop agreed to withdraw her complaint after Lynshing sought for her apology. He was later released after paying a fine of Rs 2000.
