Informing this here on Monday, sources from the Urban Affairs department said the NBCC has been directed to finish all the necessary formalities at the earliest.
The proposed ISBT is expected to reduce traffic congestion in the second largest town of the State which has become congested in the recent times.
For the project, the Central Government has sanctioned Rs 45 crore (90 per cent) and the NBCC will bear remaining 10 per cent of the total project cost.
Sources also informed that the Government is committed to commission the project within the stipulated times.
Once completed, this ISBT will accommodate fifty buses.
