The All Primary School Teachers Association has appealed to all the primary school teachers to boycott Teachers’ day celebration and join hands with the association which plans to boycott Teachers’ day on September 5.

The office of the deputy commissioner of East Khasi Hills in collaboration with the Meghalaya state legal services authority, Shillong organised legal literacy classes for college students at Shillong Commerce College here on Friday.

The annual general memorial service of the Unitarian Church, Madan Laban will be held on Sunday at 12:30pm sharp in the church’s premises which will begin with the inauguration of the bust of u Babu Hajom Kissor Singh, the founder of Unitarianism in North East India.
