Eunice Kennedy Shriver Day
The Special Olympics Bharat Meghalaya Chapter will celebrate Eunice Kennedy Shriver Day on Friday along with the students and staff of Dwar Jingkyrmen, Mary Rice and Asha School at Dwar Jingkyrmen at 10am.
Quiz competition
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has launched an all-India RBI Inter-School Quiz to promote financial literacy at school level. The quiz is being conducted among students of Classes 9, 10, 11 and 12 across 30 cities. The zonal finals would be held in mid-November and the national final would be held at Mumbai in December. Winners of the national finals would be presented prizes by the RBI Governor. The competition in Shillong will be held on October 17 at St. Edmund’s College.
MOU
The CMJ University, Shillong will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, New Delhi at Anton Hall, Laitumkhrah at 10am.
