Sitting MLA’s death condoled

SHILLONG: State Legislative Assembly Speaker Charles Pyngrope and Deputy Speaker Sanbor Shullai and officials and staff of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly have expressed their deep sorrow over the untimely demise of Sitting Chkpot MLA Masonsingh M Sangma.

The Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) has also expressed grief at the sudden demise of the former minister and Chokpot legislator.

The MPCC observed a two-minute silence and also expressed its condolences to the members of the bereaved family.

GAD Minister AL Hek has also expressed sorrow over the untimely demise of Sangma and recalled their association in the Assembly and the assembly committees.
