Freshers’ meet
The Mishing Students’ Union Shillong (MSUS) organised a freshers’ meet cum social get-together (Kangkin Kebang) on Saturday at NEHU Old Guest House Auditorium, Shillong, with a day-long colourful cultural programme. Amongst the members of the community, Dr (Prof) BS Mipun, Dean, NEHU, Dr Horen Doley, Senior Regional Director, Ministry of Family And Health Welfare, and Abhijeet Medok, Advocate, Gauhati High Court, Shillong Bench, were present as guests.
Conference
All India MES Civilian Engineers’ Association (Eastern Region) will organise its regional conference on October 11 at Rhino Officers Institute. Urban Affairs Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh will inaugurate the conference.
Annual convention
The Annual centre convention and divine healing services of the Pentecostal Mission, Shillong has invited people of the city to take part in the convention which will be held at Nongmynsong Convention Ground near Umkaliar from Thursday till Sunday at 5pm.
