 SHILLONG: The MeECL has said that the water from the Umiam reservoir is likely to be released at any time. The water level now is 3218.5 while its capacity to accommodate water up to 3220 feet. MeECl senior official Alias Lyngdoh on Thursday said, “We may release water again.” On Thursday, the water from the reservoir was released for 20 minutes on Thursday.
