Shillong : KSU Mawlai circle detains workers coming from Karbi Anglong as part of an anti-infiltration drive at Mawlai Petrol Pump on Friday. The KSU later pushed back eleven ‘illegal migrants’ who were on their way to Borsora to work in the coal mines. The labourers came in a Mahindra jeep and were stopped at Mawlai. The labourers claimed to be of Nepali origin. The labourers, who included a minor and a woman, were pushed back by the KSU after they failed to produce valid documents. (Photo by W. Lytan)
