Seng Khasi Ri Raid Laban demands action

 SHILLONG: Seng Khasi Ri Raid Laban in Bishnupur has unanimously resolved to demand from the authorities to take stringent action against the members of the Irish Shullai Durga Puja Committee as per the law of the land for misusing the Seng Khasi flag.

The Seng Khasi Ri Raid Laban during its general meeting held on Sunday have also decided not to allow any misuse of its symbol or flag by any individual or organization for vested interests without the permission of the elders.

Earlier, the Seng Khasi Ri Raid Laban had submitted a letter to East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner Sanjay Goyal against the misuse of the sacred flag by the puja committee during the process of immersion of the idol of Goddess Durga without authorization from the elders.
