Regional cooperative expo

The registrar of cooperative societies, Meghalaya will organise a two day Regional cooperative expo-2012 on Friday and Saturday at State Central Library premises and the inaugural function will be held on Friday at 10:30am which will be inaugurated by chief minister Dr Mukul Sangma.

Gratuitous relief

National seminar

The department of philosophy, Lady Keane College in collaboration with Indian Council of Philosophy Research, New Delhi and Indian Council of Social Science Research-North eastern regional centre is organising a national seminar on Environmental ethics in tribals societies; with special reference to north east India on November 21 and 22 in the college seminar hall.

Midday meal

The allotment of midday meal rice under midday meal scheme for lower and upper primary schools of all blocks including urban areas under the jurisdiction of the office of the sub-divisional school education officer, Shillong will be released from November 19 for ten days only.
