JOWAI: Education Minister Dr. RC Laloo in the presence of JHADC EM, MB Rymbai laid the foundation stone for the construction of another Eco-friendly Crematorium at Khliehtyrshi village in West Jaintia Hills District on Friday.
The cost is estimated at Rs.16.50 lakh out of which Rs.15 lakh was received from Dr. Laloo’s MLA Scheme and Rs.1.50 lakh was donated by the local MDC, MB Rymbai.
Speaking at the gathering, Dr. Laloo also informed that an amount of Rs 40 lakh will be released to beneficiaries and localities under Khliehtyrshi village from his MLA schemes for developmental activities including repair and renovation of Community halls besides others.
