SHILLONG: With an aim to make people understand the importance of the Integrated Basin Development and Livelihood Programme (IBDLP), the Khasi Jaintia Welfare Association (KJWA) in partnership with the Meghalaya Institute of governance (MIG), organised a one-day awareness programme on IBDLP at the Community Hall, Mission compound on Tuesday.

The one-day awareness programme stressed on the importance of this flagship programme of the state government, with special reference to the already abundant natural resources that the state is blessed with.

Detailed information on the programme was given by the Officer on special duty, Meghalaya Institute of governance, ABS Swer.
