Ms Sabita Sen, Vice Principal of Shillong Commerce College, has been awarded the degree Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in English Language Education w.e.f. November 6, 2012, following the submission of her thesis entitled “A Critical Evaluation of the English Syllabus for the Plus II Commerce Students of MBOSE”, under the supervision of Dr TK Bamon, Associate Professor EFLU, Shillong Campus.
Ms Sen is the wife of Justice Sudip Ranjan Sen of Gauhati High Court, and daughter of (L) Bakul Das and (L) Shephali Das, and mother of Shilpita Sen.
