Meghalaya Pradesh TMC launched

SHILLONG: With the Assembly Election drawing near, the Meghalaya Pradesh Trinamool Congress (MPTC) was formally launched here on Friday with an intention to contest from 35 out of 60 seats all over the state.

Making the announcement here, Convener of the MPTC Ashahel D Shira said at present, the office of the party is being set up at Paramount Complex in Tura and very soon, an office will be set up in Shillong.

When asked about the announcement of the list of candidates, Shira said “The list will only be announced next year after the announcement of the election.”
