SHILLONG: Shillong Lajong FC will face Air India in the 11th round of the I-League 2012-13 season in a match to be held in Pune on Sunday at 3:00pm.

SLFC grabbed their first away point when they played a goalless draw against United Sikkim last weekend in Gangtok.

The “Reds” will look to consolidate their position in the table; they are currently in ninth place, tied with Mohun Bagan on 12 points, but the latter have a better goal difference.

The Airmen played Mumbai FC in the 10th round and stunned them with a comfortable 4-1 win against the Mumbaikars.

With three wins and one draw, Air India are currently placed in 10th position with 10 points, one place behind Lajong.

SLFC Head Coach Desmond Bulpin said that, “The league is very competitive now and Air India are a good side. [They are] on a good run right now and it will be a tough game tomorrow.”

In five matches between the two teams, the last four have ended in draws.

In other Sunday matches, East Bengal will play Prayag United, while Churchill Brothers face Sporting Clube de Goa.
