Lawmali beat Wahingdoh in cricket league

SHILLONG: Lawmali SCC defeated Wahingdoh SCC by 37 runs in a league match of the Super Division Shillong Cricket League 2012, organised by the Shillong Cricket Association, at Polo Grounds.

Lawmali won the toss and elected to bat first, scoring 118 all out in 40 overs. Shellingstar Thabah made 29 while Fernold Basaiawmoit took three wickets.

In reply, Wahingdoh were skittled out for just 81 in 25.1 overs with Ricky Lasoo scoring 15 balls while Arnold Nongrum bagged two wickets.

Riatsamthiah SCC will take on Lumdiengjri SCC in the next match at 9:00am.
