Rape

On December 21 at around 2 pm, one Justine Lyngdoh (35) raped a minor girl (9) at Moolamanoh village in East Jaintia Hills district.

A couple lodged a complaint at Nongstoin PS that on December 18 at around 8.30 pm, two unidentified miscreants in a Bolero Camper vehicle abducted their minor daughter (15) from Umdiengsoh village in West Khasi Hills and then raped her in a jungle.

Assault, theft

On December 20 at around 10.45 pm one unidentified person assaulted one Ashley Dkhar at Khyndai Lad, Shillong.

Leo Shadap and Lamshwa Phawa lodged a complaint at Khliehriat PS that on December 20 at around 6.30 pm, four unidentified armed miscreants in camouflage dress assaulted them and looted Rs 85,000, gold ornaments, cell-phones and ATM Cards at Mooruit in East Jaintia Hills district.

One Ram Deo Prasad lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that on December 13, his employee, Jitendra Dev Verma stole Rs 2 lakh from his shop at Khyndai Lad, Shillong.

Unclaimed body

On December 20 at around 6 pm, one Shambu Sunar (40) was found lying on the roadside near Anjalee Cinema Hall, Shillong. He was removed to Shillong Civil Hospital where the Medical Officer on duty declared him brought dead.
