M’laya Co-op Apex Bank bags performance award

 SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd has been awarded the second prize for overall performance under Tier II Structure for the year 2008-09, 2010-11 and 2011-12 by the National Federation of State Cooperative Bank Ltd (NAFSCOB), Navi Mumbai, during a national seminar on ‘Progress, problems and prospects of short term cooperative credit structure’ in New Delhi on December 20.

The awards were presented by the Speaker of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi Dr Yoganand Shastri in the presence of Chairman of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) Dr Prakash Bakshi, NAFSCOB Chairman Dr Bijender Singh besides others.

The awards were received by Chairman of the Meghalaya Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd WK Kyndiah and Managing Director DF War.
