Lawmali down Royal CC

SHILLONG: Lawmali SCC defeated Royal CC by 66 runs in the Super Division Shillong Cricket League 2012, organised by the Shillong Cricket Associa-tion, at Polo Grounds.

Lawmali SCC won the toss and elected to bat first.

Thanks to Babloo Passah (70) and Shellingstar Thabah (46) they were able to amass a score of 213-6 in 38 overs, including five penalty runs, incurred by Royal CC because of their slow over rate. Rajiv Rai took 3-49.

In reply, Royal CC were all out for 147 runs in 31.5 overs. Aadash scored 47 while Lurshai Syiemlieh took 3 for 16 in five overs.
