Kohima: Nagaland State unit of BJP said the Joint Legislators Forum (JLF) of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, comprising 60 members, both from Naga Peoples Front and Congress must step down from the present position in the interest of Naga political solution and concentrate only till a solution is arrived.

In a statement here today Nagaland BJP Spokesman and General Secretary K.James Vizo said a meeting of the BJP office bearers was held yesterday at Dimapur Party head office, where the party was of the view that if the JLF are so concerned for the Nagas, they should all step down first, so that the Government of India as well as the Naga public will be convinced about the seriousness of their initiative for actions speak louder than words. The statement said the people have suffered enough during the long political struggle. People want complete solution which will be acceptable to various sections of the people.

Responding to this need, the JLF has to seriously act according to how they have assured the public to pave the way for lasting solutions.
