Ministers take stock of broadgauge work

Guwahati: A team of Assam government led by Minister for Public Health and Engineering Gautam Roy on Sunday visited Dima Hasao Hill district to review the progress of the broadgauge railway line between Lumding and Badarpur. The team held a discussion with officials of the Indian Railway at Haflong Circuit House and took feedback about the progress of the project. During the meeting Northeast Frontier (NF) Railway Chief Engineer A Pandit gave a powerpoint presentation regarding the present status of the ongoing construction activity. Roy and his team also visited sites of the construction activity. (PTI)
