SHILLONG: The President of the CSWO Agnes Kharshiing on Tuesday filed a Right to Information (RTI) application with the Health Department in relation with the setting up of the Shillong Medical College.

The applicant wanted to know the names of all tenderers and bidders for tender floated by the Washington-based International Finance Corporation (IFC) for developing the medical college at Shillong and associated teaching hospital on a Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) mode in the State.

Among other questions, Kharshiing wanted to know the names of all ministers, officers who are aligning authorities in the file noting’s and decision makings for the decision to have a Medical College and associate teaching Hospital on PPP mode.
